– Last year’s recruitment
yarns was absolutely fantastic. We got really, really good participation, as we spoke about all things marketing. Lots of different agency directors were doing lots of different things, and there was a real interest
in the topic as a whole. We covered things like
how to set your brand up for success in the first place, business as usual marketing activities that need to happen sort
of week in, week out, project based marketing,
i.e. activities you can do to attract either recruiters, or clients, or candidates to come to your business. But it was quite a high level. This year, what we’re doing
is we’re dialling it down and we’re focusing on some really specific actionable marketing concepts that you as a recruitment
director can go away and implement within a couple of months and definitely generate results. So, this includes things like SEO, and not really complicated SEO but just some basics that you could do that will definitely generate results. We’re looking at your database and how you can maximise
the amount of revenue that comes out of your database, through things like digital retargeting, but also simple things,
like regular newsletters. And then we’re going to look at reviews and some of the problems
reviews are causing recruitment agencies without knowing it, and some solutions to
generate positive reviews that will definitely add value and allow you to win work
compared with your competitors. In addition to this, we’re
going to walk you through some of the tools that we’ve started using to track really, really detailed return on marketing investment. So, we’re talking things
like phone call tracking, where we track and record all the calls that come in from various
campaigns we’re running, plus tracking through digital and social, and how detailed you can get
with these tools these days. And then, lastly, we’re going to give you our insights into recruitment video and the impacts of thinks
like native LinkedIn video. A, the type of results
that you can get from it, but B, how you can practically
actually get these things into your business without taking up a significant amount of time and also keeping your
brand really credible. So, we’re looking forward to seeing you throughout Australia, we’re going to all the major
