Now you can also encrust the wooden bead.
I have a ready made wooden bead here. Before you use it, because it has a shiny texture
on it, you want to sand it a little. I have a little bit of sandpaper. And just to rough
up the edge you just take some sandpaper and rub the bead all around to just rough it up
and that will help the glue on the bead stick better. Okay when you get it all then you
can just wipe that off to get the extra dust off. And now I’m going to encrust this with
the brown beads. So we’ll pour a good healthy amount of the brown beads. And again we’re
going to coat the whole bead with a good thick coating of the craft glue. And rub it around so it’s even. Whoops. I got a little gluey on the fingers
there. That’s okay it washes right off. It’s sometimes good to have a dampened wash cloth
near by that you can just wipe any glue that you get on your fingers you can wipe off.
And then again just dip your big bead into your pile of beads. Shake the beads around
to get a nice even coating. Try not to touch too much because you don’t want to wipe the
beads off that you’ve just put on. Okay. And then you can slip it on to the end of the
skewer. And again just, if there’s any sticking out or if you see you’re missing a spot you
can fill in and pat down anything that’s sticking out. And then just set that aside to dry.
