EZ Knitting Join Panels

[music playing} So I’m now gonna show you how to read the second strip where we attach to the neighbor on the right hand side. Okay, so we’re going to be working with the edging all the way up and even if you transition to different colors you’re still be using the same edging. The first thing that you need to do is that we need our 11 loops like we had before and the loops will be on the right hand side. So right where I’m waving. So we’re gonna cast on like we did before so just with the 12th one we just wanna come from behind and just punish, push it through and what we want to do is we wanna be very strategic on the very last loop when we get there. So let’s show you how to join it. So the final loop see this is the very first stitch here of this. So what you wanna do is that you wanna line it up to the first stitch or right directly over. So if you can poke your hole, your finger through it, it’s gonna go through both that one and this one and what you wanna do is that then with the new yarn coming from the strand the working yarn you wanna pull through both of those loops like that and now that just joined it. So now we’re gonna move up the row. So we have to get into this here before we can go across. So what you wanna do is take the same loop that we just put through and we wanna line it up to the last one on the outside and we wanna do it so that you can see your finger through there. So just pinching it and grabbing a new loop from the working yarn push through both and bring it to the front. And now that just joined it. So now you can physically go across in the other direction then using all the loops. So every time you get back, which I’ll review again when, when you get back you’re going to not only secure the first one that you’ll hit you’ll move up and secure the next one to move backward in the other direction. So let me just do this across and then I’ll be back up to show you one more time. So I’m coming back towards the seam of the other panel, and I’m just looping bringing from the front or back to the front and I’m capturing all the ones until the very end. So what I need to do in order to secure this one I need to take this loop and I need to align it to the one right above it. So I’m only going to grab so it’s just one strand and loop it over top. So just put it over top just kinda pinch it and then force a new loop through both from the back to the front. So now we’re ready to move in this direction so we lie that loop down on to the next height. Okay, get your finger through it so it’s only one strand on the back one strand on the front and grabbing a new loop and pushing it through both like that and now you’re ready to go back in the other direction. So just grabbing a fresh loop and moving back. So you see every time you hit the, the one panel you’re securing it twice. So you’re securing it on the way back, you’re moving up securing it and then moving back in the other direction. So this is how you’re going to join all your panels as you go along and then you’re going to get yourself to the top. 👋 [music playing]
