How to Make a Tassel Using Baker’s Twine

Hi everyone! I’m Donna from the
training team. In this video I want to show you very quickly how you can make
this fun little tassel that I’ve tied into the bow on this box. I’ve
made it with our Baker’s Twine. I have some of our wonderful Garden
Green Baker’s Twine. You’ll also need some jump rings. You’ll need 7mm
jump rings, and I had some of these in my craft room. I have one of those out here.
You also will need a pair of needle nose pliers. The first thing
that you’re going to do is just wrap some of this Baker’s Twine around your
fingers. I don’t have an exact measurement, but I just like to wrap this
around about eight times like that. Then just snip it off so you have a nice little loop like this. Here’s that jump ring. I’ll just split
that and put the loop of Baker’s Twine on the ring and then close it up. Now it looks like this. The next thing I’ll do is take some Metallic Thread– I’ve got the Gold color here–and loop that
around about eight times. Next cut that off, and then you’ll tie that
in a square knot. Here’s one that I already have tied. It will look just like this when you’ve finished. I think these look adorable on the boxes. If you would like to make some tassels of your own using our Baker’s Twine, contact your demonstrator and they can help you order all the supplies that you’ll need. You can also order online at stampinup.com. Happy stamping!
