How To Steam A Flannel Shirt – Fridja Professional Garment Steamers School

Flannel shirts are seriously easy to get looking
great. Before getting the steamer up and running,
clip the clasp attachment to the steamer head. The placket, collar and cuffs are the first
things to get done. Hold the shirt taut and run the steamer head
down the placket for a straight finish. Turn the collar up and run the steamer head
away from you. Do the same with each cuff. Now remove the clasp attachment. For the main body hold the shirt
taut at the bottom and glide the steamer head in short strokes. Rather than holding the steamer head flat
against the fabric, angle the head so that only the top curve makes contact
whilst the steam below makes the crease drop out – as seen here! Mould the soft woven fabric of the collar
when folded down. Steam the back of the shirt using the same
techniques as on the front. Remember to hold the shirt taut with your
free hand. Place your hand inside the sleeve and run
the steamer head back and forth until a perfect tube is achieved. One shirt ready for a perfect night out on
the town!
