– Hey everyone, how’s it going? So I am back with a new
Dress It Yourself video, but before we get into that, let’s just talk about the
elephant in this room. Yes I did get a haircut, and I went pretty dramatic this time. I’d gone shorter then this before, but I haven’t gone short
in a very, very long time. It took me awhile to get use to, but I am really, really enjoying
this new short hairstyle. So I’m starting my New
Year’s off really early. I will have to talk more
about this transformation in another video, but for today’s video we’re doing a Dress It Yourself. I have been in love with red lately. And I feel like red is my color. Coincidentally, red is
also the color of 2015. I use to hate red because I feel like it’s such a grownup color, but now it’s really like grown on me. And I feel like my skin complexion
looks better against red. So that is why I’ve been really loving it, and I have been obsessed
with flannel shirts lately. And I think it’s due to
the cold, cold weather. So today’s video I’m going to show you three different looks that you can style with this red flannel. (soft electronic music) My first pairing, I’m going for a softer and relaxed approach. Since the shirt has a loose boyfriend fit, I like to pair the top
with well-fitted jeans. I like jeans with a good amount of stretch for flexibility and comfort. To keep me cozy I decided to go for a thick, chunky sweater. This makes the perfect outer layer. For shoes, I went for my brown booties to balance with my sweater. If you live in colder climates, layer a nice wintery coat on top to keep you warmer. This cozy look is perfect
for any day activities, like running errands, or meeting
friends for tea or coffee. (soft electronic music) Leather immediately adds edge to any look, and I cannot live without
these leather pants. This first look I put together is for a casual holiday party. Although this is a casual outfit, the faux leather In the high heels add a nice posh appeal. (soft electronic music) And then on the same night, I just slip on a vest
to meet up some friends for a movie date. This whole outfit is not overly dressy for an evening look, but it’s definitely an upgrade to being simple and laidback. (soft electronic music) For my second outfit choice, I wanted to encorporate the unexpected. If you work in a relaxed type of business where it’s not just pant suits, try being playful with your choices. I decided to pair my plaid top with this nicely shaped wool shirt. The zipper detailing really adds a more dynamic personality to the overall feel and ties in with anything for a less traditional pairing. (upbeat music) That is it for today guys. Thank you so much for watching. Don’t forget to thumbs up this video if you enjoy it. And also, don’t forget to comment below and let me know which
look is your favorite, or is there an item that you have been obsessing over this wintertime. Mine is obviously flannel plaid shirts, and also anything red. So I hope you guys enjoy this video. I really hope on, continuing on making these styling videos for you. I know that some of you guys have been missing these videos, cause I started my YouTube video doing lots of styling videos, and then somehow last year, in the last couple of years I gravitated more toward DIY. But I want to go back to making styling videos and just, you know, showing you guys that side of me that I enjoy so much. I plan on doing at least once a month, toward the end of the munch. Oh munch, I said munch. Toward the end of the month and I hope you guys enjoy this. Talk to you next time. Chow.

  1. My favorite is the first outfit but they're all so gorgeous and wearable! _ I adore your new hair! I got mine cut last week and I'm loving my short hair.

  2. Dear to whoever is reading this,
You are amazing and don't let the negativity control you. The only way negativity can control you is when you feel down. Whenever you feel down your letting the haters get what they want, whenever you feel down your letting the negativity control you. Whenever you feel down think about the good in that day. There is something good in everyday!

Merry Christmas and happy New Years! (I don't celebrate Christmas)

  3. Love your new haircut! I'm trying a new style as well. Also love the looks with the plaid shirt! Who would've guessed it would work so many ways. Thanks for sharing your ideas!

  4. Love all 3 looks! You have a great style! I would just add a necklace to the last outfit. πŸ™‚ And I looooove your new haircut and colour. You look beautiful! I recently went from long hair to that haircut, only mine is a bit longer, no more than an inch because I haveΒ  full front bangs too and they make any haircut look shorter. Can you do a video on how you styledΒ  your hair for the 2nd and 3rd look? WhenΒ  I decided to cut my hair, that's the style I was going for, but since I'm not used to doing much with my hair, it doesn't turn out right…

  5. All three looks are amazing !! I love flannel shirts to so thank you so much for the ideas !
And by the way you totally rock the short hair !

  6. I absolutely love these videos, they are so helpful for me ! Thank you very much and your hair is absolutely devine !!

  8. Can you make a video on denim button-up shirts? I have one but I don't know what to pair it with. I love your videos!

  9. I love all three but that first one is so my style!!!!!! I haven't yet been able to find a flannel that is cut right for my body or my height, or at least I haven't found one in my price range.

  10. Ann, I absolutely love your new hair cut. You look beautiful. I think it's a great change. And you know, if you ever miss long hair, you have your Luxy hair extensions, haha Β Much Love, xx MimiΒ
P.S. I loved all three looks. I think the second one is my favorite though πŸ™‚Β

  11. Omg I was watchin this and saw your red flannel shirt and Realised that I'm actually wearing one almost EXACTLY like it right now!😏

  12. A flannel in England, is like a a small cloth, made out of the same material as a towel, but you wash your face with it. I find it fascinating, yet strange, how our words over here can mean completely different to words where you're from aha x

  13. The way you modelled the clothing your hair really just finished the whole entire look! I'm too afraid to do that with my hair cause of last years fiasco but I think you made the right decision with your hair

  14. Definitely obsessing over riding boots or just any warm color. I feel like a little bit of brown can pull an outfit together

  15. I actually really like that haircut on you. It looks so pretty and grown up in a very good way. Its playful yet sophisticated. I think I prefer short over long. Makes you look good πŸ™‚Β

  16. Ann, I Love your hair! It suits you very well.
Loved the chunky relaxed sweater look btw! Cheers and Happy New Year! 😊

  17. hair is awesome.. I loved loved loved your leather pants and block heels with plaid shirt.. plus the zip on the skirt is so chick..Β  N as it is I have been obsessing over leather(synthetic) for a long time now its just so glossy and chick I love it.

  18. I love outfit one and two and I love the heels in outfit three however I don't really like outfit three, Ann suits all of the outfits but outfit three is just not something I would wear x

  19. I like the third one and can you do a video on how to stay motivated if you have a vid already then please like this comment and give link
