Husqvarna Viking Sapphire 960 54 Speciality Stitches

Husqvarna Viking Sapphire 960 54 Speciality Stitches

Viking is always coming out with great decorative
stitches. The Menu H is all about specialty stitches from candlewicking stitches which,
by the way, most of these are going to take some type of specialty foot. That’s why there’s
a question mark. That means that if you text the question mark and then touch your stitch,
it will tell you which foot it requires. For example, that first one is a candlewicking
stitch. One through ten are candlewicking. On 11 here, when we take a look at which foot
it is, it is requiring the left edge top stitching foot. What you can do is as you can top stitching
on a hem, this foot has kind of a high low side. So the high side is over here where
the hem would be and the low side is where you’re going to be stitching on about one
layer of fabric. Then as you line up these decorative stitches, it keeps it running perfectly
down the edge of your hem. As we take a look, number 11, number 12 and
then right on through here, I think 15 is along this line, so all of these. They’re
right great stitches just as a regular decorative stitch, but when you really use them and construct
in conjunction with the foot, it’s actually quite fun. Now, let me go to the next page here. As we
get in to the specialty stitches number 25, question mark. This is having you use for
the join and fold edging foot so you can actually join two pieces together. And then 26 and
27 requires your interchangeable dual feed foot with the open toe option and then those
are going to help so. If you’re coating, you can join things together or even two if you’re
stitching in the ditch. That’s going to help kind of guide you, puts a nice stitch in the
middle and a decorative stitch out to each side. Same with 27 and I believe 28 also is
a great … Here we go, question mark. Yes, with the interchangeable
dual feed and the open toe foot for that. So we have some fun. For 29 and 30, they also
get in to a specialty foot twin gimping with a single needle. This is a twin gimping foot
that you can get from your local Husqvarna Viking dealer. Then also to a same foot, but
this one uses a twin needle. It requires twin needle size 1.6, so very small close together
to a needle. You can have some amazing fun with the special T stitches in Menu H.
