Sen. Cotton, EPA meet over Bella Vista fire


SENATOR TOM COTTON TELLING THE
EPA THAT THE STATE NEEDS ABOUT
15 MILLION DOLLARS TO FIX THE
BELLA VISTA STUMP DUMP. THIS WHEN HE MET WITH THE ACTING
DIRECTOR OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL
PROTECTION AGENCY YESTERDAY
AFTERNOON. IN A STATEMENT – COTTON SAID
THEY DISCUSSED HOW THE STUMP
DUMP IS MAKING LIFE DIFFICULT
FOR RESIDENTS IN THE AREA – AS
WELL AS WHICH E-P-A PROGRAMS
COULD BE AVAILABLE TO THE CITY. COTTON’S OFFICE SAYS THEY’LL
KEEP IN CONTACT WITH THE E-P-A
WHILE THEY LOOK AT THE NEXT
STEPS. ANOTHER MEETING HAS NOT BEEN SCHEDUL
