UPDATED| Elastic Band Method Secure Wig NO GEL or GLUE Lace Frontal Wig| Blessedluv

How do you secure your frontal wigs without any glue gel or tape I will be showing you our updated elastic band method on two wigs. You cut your elastic band to your head measurement size once you have that you will saw the band at the edge of your frontal so make sure that it is at the edge of your frontal leaving just a little little less than half an inch of space this is the most important part of you making sure that you have a glueless frontal so many people are showing you two sew it a bit further down but this is not correct because you will still need to apply glue, gel, tape for you to secure your wig if you saw it at the edge you would not need to do this so sew it on at the edge and then you’re going to do the same for the other side [Music] [Music] [Music] remember that when you’re sewing over to the other side make sure that you bend the lace so that you’re sewing in like I’m showing you now [Music] [Music] I’ve just finished filming how I tinted this lace that should be out soon [Music] one of our viewers Maria Anna this video made for you, she asked several questions regarding to the first elastic bend method that I showed in our video I will insert it over here for you Her question was that does she have to put the band on top of the wig and she said it was still sliding off the reason why Maria that your wig is going to slide off is simply because you are sewing the band in the wrong position if you sewed the band right at the edges like you can see me doing over here then your wig would not come off and I can only do this just simply because I sewed it right at the edges of your lace frontal that’s the key to making sure that you have a glueless lace wig Maria’s question is very common and we received so many comments regarding the elastic band video that is the reason why I made an updated version for you so that you can see how it’s done again but with one type of wig rather than a lace frontal and a lace closure wig so now you should be more confident in you having a glueless wig comment below and tell me what is the most common problem that you’re having with your lace wig and I will make a video for you like I did for Maria [Music] [Music] [Music] subscribe to our channel if you like more tips and tricks on how to care for your wig remember this is the only channel purely dedicated to lace wigs [Music] [Music] [Music] You can not see your sewn in band it is undetectable [Music] so I just look for the clips or should I say the combs sorry I just put the comb in you can add more combs onto your wig if you need to for extra secure but I don’t bother [Music] [Music] You can pull it. it’s secured nicely it’s not gonna push back it’s gonna stay in place and if you want you can move it around either way you want this wig is set for centre parting but I’ll show you if I wanted to move it around I could just move it [Music] and I’m moving back to the center because it is I’ve sat it for centre parting but this is a free parting wig but we’ve just styled it to a centre parting [Music] and I can shake it’s not going anywhere it’s not moving it’s not going backwards it’s very very secure [Music]

  3. Very informative and nicely done…Thank you kindly…I needed to see this because Iโ€™m soooo over the glue and spray method.

  4. Should I tac the band to the back of the wig for extra support ? And can I dye the wig after doing this or before .

  5. You are the Bee's Knees! Thank you soooo much. I have been doing this all wrong! I am a student for real! I struggle with the hairline. I can't seem to make it look natural. Do have a video for that?

  6. Thank you for this amazing tutorial… please, would this be the same if its a lace parting where the lace is very small orrrrrr shall i just attach the elastic from where my wig meets my ears?? Thank you

  10. Thank you so much for this tutorial! I used to sew it to the cap in stead of the lace, I was afraid it would break, but this solved every problem I had. No glue and no visible lace. Oh and you've taught me how to properly sew, haha. Many thanks!

  11. Thank you cause I was trying everyone else method but my sides wasnโ€™t tight they was loose and I didnโ€™t want to use glue … I was stuck

  12. I feel like when I sew it at the corners like that.. and wear it.. it pulls back.. like the flap is now pulling backwards rather sitting in front of my ear.. you know what I mean??

  13. How do you lay frontal on that type of wig cap? And how do you get the flaps in front of the ears to stay down without any glue or anything. Like just put on and go?

  14. My head is straight up too small and no matter what my wigs are too big and inevitably slide off and donโ€™t feel secure at all I always have extra wig in the back of my head because theyโ€™re just big (even the small size wigs)

  15. Queen thank you for your guidance. My problem is that I am allergic to synthetic, human hair blend and some pretentious human hair wigs. My scalp sizzles and burns like heat. Washing chemical out does not work either. Is there a solution? Are there wigs that will not present this problem?

  16. Hi blessedluv I hesitated on buying lace wigs because you have to glue it down but this is much better. I just might buy me some lace fronts after all.

  17. Hello and goodnight one of my main problems that I have with my lace wigs is how to maintain my straight, layered or curly lace fronts(SYNTHETIC). Especially curly! Such a task. I've tried boil/cool water methods. I've also tried fabric softener and/conditioners. I do see why so many women buy the human hair wigs. It makes more sense to invest in something that will last much longer. Although, its some coins! I can't always afford those and I can't help it. Some of these synthetic wigs are so cute and they become made of better quality and styles. Please help! Ooooooh lawd

  18. Hello thanks so much for your tutorials. I usually have a problem sewing the band on the edges. Because it always comes out bulky on each side why?

  19. You are a very beautiful girl! I wish you all the best!
